All I can say is a close friend has them and loves them, but I haven't tried them out yet. I have the airpod 2s which i do like quite a lot.

Earbuds that stay in your ears

My wife has some form of airpods. Not sure which one. For her to use them while running we had to buy little silicone condoms to put on them so they would stay in place. I have never listened to them. Ahe said they sounded better than her cheap iq buds and worse than her beats fit pro. I wouldnt necessarily trust her ear but it was interesting that she can easily tell the difference.
sounds like airpods then. The Pros come with silicone? ear inserts.

They are awesome, but I would recommend Beats Fit Pro instead for the workouts and jogging. It’s basically AirPods in a different shape, that better hold in ears during activities.
Want something for dirtbiking/mountainbiking and these are half price at the moment with prime days so I ordered a pair to try.
No doubt they're better but wife wanted the Apple ones so I got her a pair of the 3rd gen one's. She's happy with them after a few jogs.
One more Sure fan here. Through this forum I learned all about it - use now Sure 215 Bluetooth wireless version with these in-ear sleeves - solid as it could be, and sound isolation is the best.
That was probably my post where you saw these. Along with a set of over-ear Shure SE215's using these earplug attachments fit to them, it's hands down the best helmet earbud/noise cancellation setup I've ever had, and I'll never go with any other option.
Do you fit these plugs/buds instead of the ones on the Shire SE215?
I am trying to find something that doesn’t hit the side of the helmet that causes vibrations to side of my head (if I’ve explained that right)

Those earplugs pictured replace the little foam things that come with the 215's - they're purpose designed to fit the Shure headphones, and they work amazingly well. Once I get the fit in my ears the noise levels from the wind and the bike are dampened probably 90%, and the audio from the Shure's are piped right into my ears. The SE215's fit nicely in your ear and don't extend out at all, so they work well with full face helmets as well.
They're not cheap (and the bluetooth ones are more expensive vs the wired ones I use along with my Cardo), but it's one of those things where you get what you pay for.
Do you happen to know the model for the wireless pair? Interested in checking them out. Currently using Cardo JBL with EarPeaceplugs which is ok until you get on the highway and the wind gets more involved in the party. I can still hear everything but quality is greatly diminished.

Is Cardo JBL the Packtalk Bold series or something else?
I use the Packtalk Bold with the 45mm JBL speakers and foam earplugs and the set up works amazing - speaker placement is key.
I would still be using the Shure SE215's I have collecting dust, but those are only useful to me up to around 8hrs, then after that the speaker wire hurt my ears too much and very painful for long multi-day trips.
Nother Shure advocate - getting the correct foam tips is vital I find the Shure tips last.
These are currently my go to ...the 215s sound better but the price is right for these and they are durable,
Insane value for money ....bottom end is substantial - top end dim but so is my hearing.
They are very low profile and have taken a lot of abuse.
The nice thing with Shures is the modular design so bits from my wired Shure 215 IEM fit the BT version.

Cardo Freecom with the smaller JBL speakers although I’ve considered upgrading.
Speaker placement is definitely key and I’ve tweaked that to what I find optimal. Maybe I should really consider the upgrade to the 45mm speakers I’ve been putting off (also the software upgrade IIRC)

Looks like Shure SE215-K-BT1 are the bluetooth models.
I cannot do in-helmet speakers with any setup at all - the low frequency wind noise just drives me bonkers, plus 28 years and counting in the trucking indistry has damaged my hearing enough as it is already, so the last thing I need is for it to get worse. Back before I got the SE215's and I did have helmet speakers for a while for our communicators, I used to ride with super heavy duty earplugs in..and then I found I couldn't get the helmet speakers loud enough to be able to clearly hear things like audiobooks and podcasts I listen to regularly while riding.
Weird, I have no issues at all with comfort and have done some 1000-1200+km riding days with them. Perhaps the rubber earplug style buds I'm using are helpful as I find the earplug portion deep in your ear canal then holds the actual bud itself quite securely, leaving the over-the-ear loop not doing much perhaps, so it's not riding hard on my ear.

The earplug tips are on Amazon. Next day. A few sets last me a full season.
I'll give them another try one of these days and try not looping the wire over my ears, because that's what hurts the most on the longer days.
It's also worth noting for those that aren't on a budget and like a really higher fidelity experieince, for years I rode with 400 series Shure IEM's and they were many levels above the SE215's for sound quality.
I rarely listen to music while riding versus audiobooks and podcasts, so sound quality isn't the number one thing for me personally. But I find them pretty decent regardless, although I am far from an audiophile lol
