Ear Protection - opinion.

Ouch, two phones.. that's too much for me lol : ) I installed a charger, so the phone can charge while mounted on the handlebars and it kinda works for me..

I bought this one: 1Mii Bluetooth 5.0 Music Receiver for Car, 3.5mm Aux Bluetooth Adapter with OLED Display for Car/Home Stereo/Speaker/Wired Headphones, Noise Cancelling & Hands Free Calls & Dual Connection : Amazon.ca: Electronics (it had a discount coupon and fast delivery). Already designed and 3d printed a mount for it (don't mind the white colour on the photo, this is just a prototype to confirm the design). I planned to use a strap to mount it on my arm but then decided to have velcro and mount it on my chest. Going to try it this week and can always print another mount if I change my mind

P.S. I'm not sure if the sound quality is good with this receiver or not.. don't remember how the headphones sounded before.. and I'm mostly listening profession related podcasts/info, so it's not very important to me : )

Retired phones ...iPhones that work fine for Nav are like $50.

Picked up these to replace my failing BlueTooth Shures for cheap and they actually sound okay and fit in my Shark Evoline 3
Price is certainly right. Easy set up. One note - it's USB-C for charging. Came charged. Loads of volume headroom.
Just did Super Tramp which has high dynamic range and they did okay. Was $22.90 shipped for me with tax etc.
ou should replace the tips with foam but hey ...
Waterproofing seems good as well and decent bass. Bought mainly for audio books but nice to know I can rock at volume as needed. Review is with proper foam tips. I could not buy decent wired for that money.
They are a tad soft but prefer that to overly bright. So far so good. Instant BT connection too.
Comes with a short USB-A to USB-C cable for charging and a couple sizes of silicone tips.
I wear them with the neck band down the front of the jacket so easier access to the controls.

These foam tips will work - you have to look for 6mm and up. Very comfortable.

If the tips work on the Pioneer Rayz then will work with these.
always look for a list as tips are confusing

Decent price on the BlueTooth version and everything it replaceable but the BT sending unit apparently has failed on mine but pending further investigation. They do fit under a helmet. Happy with the 1Mores I bought ...first ride today and no issues at all tho still sorting best tips.

BTW this is excellent

Very thin and keeps the IEMs in place and easier on and off. Really happy.

Confirming these work well with the BT set above

Got the custom ear plugs... My oh my, it's a game changer, worth every penny. Comfortable for all day riding, like there's nothing in your ears, don't pop out when you put your helmet on, and super quiet, block the right amount of street noise and almost all wind noise (I opted for 30dB).

I was hoping that my insurance will cover them, and they didn't, but I will spend $185+tax I paid again in a heartbeat.
