This is the best for me so far for ease of getting the helmet on with IEMs. Very thin - don't even feel it....easier to keep clean than the Oxford.

I'm surprised your silicone tips supress ambient noise...the OEM Shure high density foam tips are excellent.

Been looking for something like this. Gets boring riding without music. Current sports in ear plugs are too big to fit with the helmet

Whatever you get if any cables, make sure the cables can be detached and replaced
There is a standard adapter these days and the cables very in quality.

and the choice of tips very important too....I find the Shure foam tips durable yet isolate very well.

Perfect timing. Was looking for this thread to see about ear plugs with music and here we are.

I’d prefer to use my AirPods but they’d most likely fall off when taking the helmet out.
 
I use speakers attached to a Sena vs. an earbud type of arrangement.

Did look at earbuds before purchase of Sena but I was a little concerned about taking a serious impact to the side of my helmet and having the earbud rammed into my ear canal.

Probably about as likely as having the Sena catch on something during a fall and twist your neck.

Probably not............;)

The Sena I have on my LS2 helmet is integrated and doesn't attach to the side.

Have the Shure SE215’s… they’re Meh at best. Sound quality is good, but they cut out regularly for a split second or so. It’s been commonly mentioned in threads regarding those ear buds. Slight rotations of the wire where they plug into the bud cause the cut in audio. You can clean it regularly with brake cleaner fluid, but that only lasts a week or so.
 
Off M/C topic but I had a ride in a friend's Ram 2500 today and couldn't believe how quiet it was with the off road tires. It has active noise reduction. He says if he shuts everything off the truck is almost a sensory deprivation chamber.

FWIW....I just ordered their replacement foam sleeves, as I believe (hope) they will fit my JBL bluetooth earbuds which have silicone sleeves.
 
I really loved my Shure wireless.. the only thing - they died after a year. Now using Galaxy Buds 2 with upgraded tips.. they are meh for riding.. Liberate 2.0 look very interesting!

it looks like the wire from the Bluetooth attachment to the left earphone is dead.. I actually just checked and turned out I've used them for 2 years, not one! Time flies..

I guess one option for me would be to buy a replacement cable and then some 3rd party Bluetooth adapter (let's be honest, the original from Shure is not the greatest one, short and not replaceable cable, not so great battery life, controls are horrible, etc)

I'd just skip the BT entirely ...I've switched back to wired for now ...the ear pieces are the same and there are lots of cable options - some better than others. Phone sits in my shirt pocket ....not much different than the BT module clipped to my shirt. There are cables with and without volume controls.
 
Yeah, I would skip the BT but I really want it. I don't want to put my phone into my jacket's pocket, and I don't have shirt pockets like at all.. also, most of the time, I want to clip my phone to the handlebars either for navigation or other stuff..

but you know what, I had a ride that day I wrote the comment, and the Galaxy Buds 2 hurt my ears so badly when I was taking off my helmet.. so, I got home and ordered new cable with a BT receiver.. already got it today (tx Amazon!) and it works as expected. The BT has a small screen with the charge info and much bigger buttons!

I plan to keep these headphones and receiver in the jacket (except when need to charge) and use them only while riding now.. just tried them again and they are SO MUCH more comfortable than Buds2.. I guess my ears are weird or what but Shure is so much better fit
 
What BT receiver ??

I always carry two phones and a power brick. I mostly navigate with voice so the power draining screen is off....I turn it on when I need visual.
