$20,000 for the Edge. I got what I wanted for the Ranger.

Now that I have had the Edge for 4 years I want another truck again.

Every dealership has their own way of doing business. I'm sure when they asked you for a deposit, they just wanted to make sure that you were ready to make a purchase and not test drive 10 cars before you can make up your mind. Unless you agree to purchase the car without a test drive, there's no way for them to force you into anything, even if you gave them a deposit.

Caboose, I think you were being very reasonable with your trade value. I wish I had more customers like you.
