"Paramedics found one woman at the scene without vital signs and two men were rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries, Toronto Paramedic Services said.

Toronto police said a total of three people were transported to hospital."

EDIT 2:

A 39-year-old woman is dead and two men are in hospital after two motorcycles collided on the Don Valley Parkway.

Witnesses reported seeing about five motorcycles speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.

Police said one of the motorcycles hit a metal barrier.

The woman flew off one of the motorcycles and landed in an area of dense bush. She was pronounced dead at the scene. It is not yet known if she was a passenger or motorcyclist.

A 35-year-old man has life-threatening injuries while a 40-year-old man suffered serious injuries.

Charges laid.

"A man turned himself in at Traffic Services in connection with the deadly collision on Tuesday, police said.

Police said an a news release that 41-year-old Novel Yashaev of Toronto has now been charged with impaired operation causing death, impaired operation causing bodily harm, dangerous operation causing death, dangerous operation causing bodily harm, and operation while prohibited."
 
Second suspect surrendered on the same day as the first but police didn't release information until yesterday. More charges laid.



In an update on Thursday, investigators said a second man, 35-year-old Volodymyr Liskovs’kyi of Toronto, also surrendered to police back on February 8.

Liskovs’kyi faces a slew of similar criminal offences, including impaired operation causing death and a different charge of exceeding blood alcohol concentration causing death.
