Heard on the news rider and car accident. Wife passed by and rider nowhere to be seen but car was atop the bike still as she passed by.

Came to say this. My friend saw it in his rearview mirror and was checking if it was me.

Looks like no a major injury to the motorcyclist. Nevertheless GWS.

So that was it. I got stuck in the traffic jam and thought I was the one having a bad day.

When they close a major road it's an indication of KSI, Killed or Seriously Injured, and they take their time with reconstruction.

Some Reddit posts mention the rider has a broken leg but otherwise alright.
