If my V4R blew up and warranty wouldn't cover it I would take it to pro 6. What's more complex? A 998 or a V4R ? I have owned 20 Ducati from 851 to V4R. Pro 6 can do them all

A V4R is a relatively new model, so I would say it's less problematic to find documentation and parts. Guy Martin in Montreal has been working on older Ducati's for about 30 years or so. I would trust him with my 998, but not with a V4R.

I edited my original post to show that I have owned 20 Ducati starting with an 851 and I would trust Pro 6 and have trusted pro 6 with all of them

To each their own. I've had a bad experience with mechanics who were let loose on my motor having never seen one before, didn't understand the proper way to do things, resulting in a blown motor. And that was just a belt change at a Ducati dealership.

Surprised that none of you have mentioned Ken of KMW. Pro6 always had a great reputation because they have always taken a great interest in racing and trackdays. Just about anyone in the docc had a connection with them.

I sort of did without a name. That was my recommendation in durham region.

Reason I'm asking is that I just found out that Maranello Motor Sport is moving and will no longer support or sell Ducati bikes. Only BMW.
So generally is Dukes of Cycle a good place to go get service done for Ducati or any bike really. I don't mind paying a premium if the service is good. Wait time is reasonable. Able to get parts as required. Etc.

Any personal reviews or opinions would be appreciated.

I would not use this business for my motorcycle needs. Phone call was made to this individual regarding a part that needed to be picked up, description and e-mail was sent out about the part in question and all required info was talked about over the phone or in writing and price was agreed upon over the phone. When I saw the fellow in person the price was increased by 15% and owner became defensive about the part! Person cannot be trusted with a conversation, and with that kind of characteristic I would not trust him with a bike.
