I really don’t see the big issue about cruise. Useless anywhere in the GTA and it’s got to be a really low traffic day on the 401 to use it if you are that far away from town as well and how boring of a day trip are you doing if you’re using cruise control.
I’ve had cruise on my Multistrada and S1000XR and never used it once. Heated grips used lots, cruise never.

Because it's the GTA where cruise is good. How long you have to go to get to some mediocre twisties and the long stretches of reduced speed limit community safety zones. Of course you turn it off when you get to the fun parts but there's huge gaps between fun. This isn't the Smoky mountains where every road was designed by a 2 year old with a crayon.

I'm talking GTA to Milton, Hamilton, Shelburne, Bancroft or Muskoka.

no experience, wouldn't pay for it. the model is pretty bullet proof.

+1 I would never pay for it, but I do have CAA+ so I have my bases covered for something like flat tires..
OEM tires on MT-09 not the best in terms of handling and wear (squaring right away), and after replacing htem with quality Michelins I don't think I'd worry about anything - just ride and enjoy a quality piece of tech
