Dual Sport vs Street Helmet

Quite possibly, I'm new on the board, so I wouldn't have read about it yet.

A good snell approved mx lid would be better of than a beenie that's for sure! The DS probably has the edge in the chin protection department.

i have had my helmet run over by an atc(wasnt wearing it at the time). it got scratched and cracked but held up ok. wore the helmet the rest of the day.

if you ride off road you need a mx helmet. the speeds are so low off road you need a lot more ventalation. mx lids are really nice on those super hot summer days. i dont care what you think i look like when i ride my rr with a mx lid.

You look good when you top it off with the textile jacket, shorts, and skate shoes.

Whats the difference between a Dual Sport helmet and a Street Helmet?

I can see how there would be better ventilation with a Dual Sport Helmet, but it also looks less aerodynamic.

Pros? Cons? Your experiences?

I love my hornet. Long days of street riding tire my neck though if the speeds are over 80. Wear earplugs (like any other time on the road)and the noise will not be too bad.

It is great for dualsporting, and you can use goggles with it when doing serious offroading.
