I feel by having a dual sport you are missing out in both categories,if you want to have the most fun get a purpose built machine.That being said I do ride with a few guys on DRZs,they are still the better bike of choice if you want to do more than fire roads and snowmobile tracks.Parts do break going off road and there are plenty cheap parts around for the DRZ.
