Drivetest booking code

Spent an hour and a half trying to book a DriveTest G test with my kid, and all I got was the above error number that can't be used because they're not taking calls. If you want to see an extreme exampleof inefficient code, try to book a test. Oh and beware of all the doppelganger sites, that'll skim a profit. Finally, get in to the booking part after a half hour, and it takes 5 minutes to open to this month which is fully booked. Click forward to next month, since you can't just pick one, and it won't put you on the next available, and it crashes.

I have a friend who used to be an examiner, I will try to get you an answer.
Will probably try late night and see whether it's a traffic issue or simply bad code. Most front end stuff seems to separate the user and the computer back end with a dozen layers of bloatware. People need to start keeping track of the subprograms and objects they include.

From my friend-

Yeah, drivetest sucks. Make sure it's Drivetest.ca
Also, all DT centers don't open too far in advance. It may look like it's booked up, but they have not opened up spots.
They are allowed to open so far in advance at certain % and by 2 weeks to the date you are looking at 100%
So a month out might be 70% or 40% open. Depending on the center.
Do you know what center they are looking at?
Mondays are a terrible time to be on their web page. Everyone is at the test center or on line.

And they do take calls, it's a wait usually though: 1-888-570-6110

Walkley. I just go to Ontario.ca and find the site there. That way a typo doesn't get me to a copycat. Best if they did something about that. He's got a couple of more years to do it, but it'd be nice if he got it out of the way.

Got to the point where you pay this time before it choked. Had a decent date/time picked too.

Edit: Checked for booked tests, and it shows up as booked.
Guess I'll still have to call and make sure they got paid. Amazing these time saving devices and programs.

It's going to be a long line up if you're going to walk in, if you're in the city that is. I don't know about weekdays but I was in the plaza near the drive test on Lawrence and Victoria park(?) past weekend and it wasn't pretty.

Took the kids into Walkley, before covid, during March break, I think it was a Friday. Apparently, that was the worst day of the year to take them.
