Drive Right. (GTFO of the left lane.)

Just a quick rant here. Please tell your families.

Please tell everyone you know that if they drive in the passing lane, they are a Dog Fxcker. Please tell them that when they are on the highway:

1. No matter how fast you think you are going in the left lane, you are always in our way when we need the lane to pass someone. Pls use it to pass then GTFO.
2. Driving left slows down traffic by causing it to bunch up when people in the middle and right lanes can't pass each other, because some dog fxcker is sitting in the passing lane at that moment.
3. If you get passed on the right it is your own damn fault, you are in the wrong lane. Every time you get passed on the right, it's because everyone thinks you are an idiot.
4. GTFO of the centre lane as well, you are causing traffic to back up, the right lane is almost empty because nobody can get out of it.
5. If you are afraid of changing lanes near on-ramps, then perhaps you should learn how to drive.

If the police want to crack down on something that will actually make a positive difference in the lives of people, get drivers out of the passing lane. Even just blowing through with a couple of cruisers to make people move right once every couple of hours would do it. Maybe use the loud speaker to tell them to stay out of the passing lane as well.

If there were a simple 'nudge' campaign that would improve commute times and traffic, this would be it. Before we add more HOV and toll lanes, try using the cops to enforce this first.

I completely agree... Was heading to Burlington and some useless waste of skin was camping in the passing lane. I was in the middle of a group of 6-7 cars that were passing him when room opened up in the middle lane, so I gave him a blast of my ChiNautilus horn.. He had the galls to honk back.. Friggin moron. Even after we moved quite a bit ahead of him, he kept camping in the left lane. It's illegal and it really WOULD be a good corrective measure to crack down on those morons.

Had this scenario happen over and over and over..... pity it's not more like EU here.

meh...we're on bikes for a reason right? Just pass 'em.

I've found that if I sit behind them for a while they'll move =)

Left lane banditing has become a ****ing epidemic! When did all this change? Last few rides into GTA, I can't count the ****s who have been parked in the nice safe left ****ing lane where they don't belong.

Even areas such as hurontario (hwy 10) from mississauga up to the north where it's multiple lanes this crap happens. They ****ing slow race each other at 10 under the limit leaving you nowhere to pass.

I always dream about driving a Hummer H1 and push them outta the way when i see these left lane campers.

A lot of drivers don't use their rear view mirror to see if there are a bunch up behind them and get out of the way. I haven't seen police enforcing the rule of using the left as a passing lane. It's annoying but not harmful, just wait it out or go around.

Or you can turn on those non retro-fitted hi-beam rice HID's to blind the "Dog Fxcker" lol

Maybe Police should do this?

The point is that it's harmful and dangerous because left lane driving creates traffic "boxes" where other drivers have nowhere to maneuver, and people end up using their brakes on the highway instead of passing, which causes backups and jams. It's the cause of most other problems.

I to am a victim of this. I lived in Mississauga for 3 years now and everyone morning I take Mavis down to Queensways and that little stretch of Queensway to hwy-10 their will always be a couple of cars driving side by side. People please don’t drive side by side even if I'm speeding get the "F" out of the left lane.

I've ridden in the US and you don't see this. In the left lane, pass, move over. Hit any 400 series and it is a madhouse. The issue I see is to many drivers that lack even the most basic understanding of what they are doing, we live in such a self focused time that 99% of the bubble head's out there do not have a clue. That and many people with a license gain them through questionable means..

So I must assume you take your advice, correct?
You always ride in the slow lane?

Oh this means when your on the road everyone should get out of your way... :D

While the left lane may be legally a passing lane this law is not enforced. There is near no driver education on getting out of the left lane. Because of this you will see no change in driver behaviour. You cannot change the habits of others, only your own. As such I don't worry about it. It is what it is.

What comes across in this forum is "Get the F* out of my way so I can speed as fast as I want." This, too is your prerogative. I'm really not sure who is more self-centered.
