Drinking & Driving!

...Older generation, was not like that so much. I know so many guys in their 40s and up that will have "just a few" and drive home.

This is a very true statement, but it also puts me in the older generation now, when you qualify the "older generation" age :(. I can honestly say I have never chosen to drink and drive but many of my friends growing up made that choice and unfortunately still do from time to time and they are in the 40-50 year old range.

I can probably drive better than half of the people in gta drunk.
But I prefer not to drive loaded

I drink and drive all the time. As an adult I am an experienced drinker and know when ive had too much to drink and when i haven't, it's called maturity. So just because i have 0.09 or 0.10 in my system it doesnt mean im drunk, it just means im over what the law says i am. If I were ever in a situation where i had to choose between a mature drinker who's over 0.08 and has driving experience vs. someone sober who just got their license id take the mature "drunk" driver.

If the government wants to effectively control drinking and driving then they should just ban drinking and driving all together and develop special licensing for those that want to drink and test them based on their tolerance levels, rather than generalize and say anyone over 0.08 is drunk, that's just bs.

I can see where that logic comes from. I have a dear friend who explained all that to me once when he was riproaring hammered. You were probably a little tippsy when you wrote that, but not drunk or anything.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many people still Drink and Drive.

I hear about it all the time at work and it is still a very very very big problem.

.....and I'm not talking about being stopped by RIDE and blowing over. I mean other motorists reporting someone swerving all over the place or bouncing off curbs.

they need to focus more on enforcing the texting and driving laws. I saw a lady yesterday doing it. It ****** me off so much, I rolled down my window and threw my beer at her

I actually LOL'd at that. ^^

I have a question and I want you to answer with all honesty. Are you mentally stable?

If they take any meds?

What if they are not at the meds taking stage yet?
Or they just don't take their meds.
Just sayin'

I mean they could be taking meds with scotch/rum/vodka/beer.

Actually the majority of people that are "unstable" or flat out, bat sht crazy, believe they are normal and nothing is wrong with them.

If you "think" your crazy, you most likely arent.

Lets face it, drinking and driving sucks....There is always time for a cold one after the ride....

Problem is, people have a greater tendency to make bad decisions when they're impaired. Planning can make all the difference - a designated driver can give you a safe ride home & watch your six.

2 beers makes you feel like a new man. First thing new man wants is 2 more beers.

Alcoholic much? Who the **** rides with a 24 case of beer in their tail bags?
So if I posted a picture of a gun I would be a....? Really? LOL, imagine the heat in the tail bag, let alone opening a hot shaken beer? A real alcoholic would have packed the tail bag with ice to keep the beer cold. After settling into the hotel and a long day twisting through the "mountains" who wouldn't want to crack a cold one? (The beer store was a mere two blocks from the hotel).
