For some, it's less about self restraint, and more about actually coming to GTAM to see motorcycle stuff and talk motorcycle stuff.

I realize there's a lot going on in the world right now, but personally, I come to GTAM to escape all the nonsense and talk motorcycles. And, OK, EV's too lol.

But most of the active threads are just politics and most others don't gain much traction as everyones busy in the politics threads. And now some threads are getting heated and people are getting testy with each other.

So, yeah, I just want to look forward to visiting GTAM and not see a bunch of people that I consider friends (in an online sense) getting angry with each other and generating bad blood. I don't participate because I have strong views that are better kept to myself in most cases, as yeah, I would rather avoid the whole bad blood thing. Case in point here.

This is my personal opinion FWIW, I don't speak for the staff, the mods, or anyone else. I have my opinions on the matter that I've made abundantly clear, but it's not my sandbox and not my rules. But it's my opinion nonetheless - nobody has to like it. I know some don't.

Don’t matter, most if not all will still click on the threads,
It’s human nature, some will never post in them, but all will click on them.

I guess if I start a few anti trump and musk threads, that might be ok 👍
