Does your bike have a name?

My 250 did. His name was Pedro. I chose this name as I knew it'd be one summer fling. I suspected Latinos are all about fun, and he delivered.

Gsxr is still flying incognito. Not sure about this one..
My nombre es Enrrrrriqqueeee!!!

No, but I am 100% guilty of referring to her as a "She".

Of course, that's partly because there were actually two versions of my bike: a 1000cc, 4 cylinder "male" version and a 750cc 3 cylinder "female" version. I have the 3 cylinder version, which - funny enough - is known for being much smoother, better balanced, and more reliable than the 4 cylinder version.

If I was forced to name my bike it would be one of the following:

einn með the gríðarstór brúnt holu sem lekur slæmt loft og stundum fljótandi. = Mary

Ako sa kagutom alang sa otin = Kate

ყველაზე ცუდი თემა ოდესმე = Sasha

it's ok, your bike name matches your post

Ouch...hope she didn't hear that, might not start for you ;-)

My other bike is a motarded blue DR650. I named it "Big Blue". What's big and blue and throbs between my legs?

I named mine Dolores only because a close friend asked what I'd named it, and then whenever I'm asked again I have to search my memory for the name.
In real life I generally refer to it as "My bike"

That was the whole idea. I am thrilled at least one person gets it. :)

My wife Linda's first motorcycle was a 2000 Honda Rebel 250. Rebels have a stylized hawk image on the side covers so she named the bike Isabeau after Michelle Pfeiffer’s character from the movie Ladyhawk.

Her second bike was a special order 2001 Ducati M600 Metallic with a fiesta red metallic tank. She named the bike Rosa.

Her third was a brand new 1987 Ducati 650 Indiana which she uncrated and prepped herself. It’s a long story but she give him the name Dino.

He was traded even for 2011 M796 ABS which she ended up calling Max as in Mad Max, The Road Warrior. The bike was to have been white and she had started referring to it as Angelica. However, Ducati North America needed a bike for a photo shot and when they saw the Monster in white they took it. The only other M796 ABS available at the time was in the matte black, (long story but the colour wasn't important as it was getting a red / green body kit). He had a menacing look about him and she said it reminded her of Mad Max's Falcon XB. As collected new.

I never thought much about naming bikes until we go tour 1998 Ducati 900 SS FE. It was our silver wedding anniversary gift to each other so I started calling it Silver. I grew up watching the Lone Ranger and his horse was named Silver. She said that she didn’t want to be called Tonto so I changed the spelling to silFEr.

Last summer while driving home from the dealer with my new 2013 MV F3 all I could see in the rear-view mirror was the headlight surrounded by this gorgeous red upper fairing. The first thing that popped into my head was the opening line of Richard Thompson's song, 1952 Vincent Black Lighting. "Said Red Molly to James that's a fine motorbike..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgxbCnqCyKA And so I named her Red Molly.
