Does anyone pre-purchase parts known to break?

I highly recommend you guys get aftermarket R/Rs. I scored a super beefy R/R off some big ATV at a scrap yard. They are all the same on most bikes. My old one got very hot. The ATV one has a lot more cooling fins. It barely warms up.

it's funny you folks talk about spare parts...whenever i go into a bike store, it seems to be a harley rider behind the counter...do they get so many spare parts that they just open up stores?

Track riders normally carry parts which can/will snap and a crap load of duct tape and zip ties. And a spare set of rubber.

That looks like a blast. Impressive.
So how often are you changing suspension components?
Pretty bad *** nonetheless.
Thanks guys. I had a 2" lift and 32" tires installed when I first got it, and haven't done anything (suspension wise) since. But I do carry spare axle shafts, drive shafts, air filter, belt, starter, etc. It'll go to a 4" lift once I get money, which isn't anytime soon thanks to my SFV 650 and motorcycling in general. Bike mods (fender delete, Yoshi exhaust, not sure what else) and other events like Racer5 and gear for the track are taking away from the Jeep.

But back to the OP's question. If I were you, I would only keep components of parts that are KNOWN to fail. Parts where it's not a question of "if" but rather "when" it'll break. The only exception is if you're taking your bike to the track and pushing the bike to the limits... then I'd start looking at even more parts.

Whats up with this? What's the upgrade?

Oberon Clutch slave machined from billet- stock one has cast body
The Oberon unit also has a solid piston with double seals. the stock one has a thin plate with one seal that often rocks in it's bore. And the Oberon has an orfice above the piston's bore to make bleeding a 5 minute painless ordeal.

Many Ducati guys use Oberon or Evoluzie clutch slaves. I chose the Oberon becasue of the bleed orfice, the warranty, and the fact that Tony at Blue Streak takes very good care of me and all of my bikes-street or race.....and he carries them in stock. No waiting.
