The F4i that was stolen a couple months ago was 'The Jet' . Partly because it was silver and it's air intakes looked so similar to an F14...that and the play on F4i and it was done.
My new bike is black and pearl orange - That'd be Jack
Gonna ride that boy hard and dirty come Spring...

I name all my bikes Iva after my childhood best friend who passed away from cystic fibrosis. As a child I promised her one day I would arrive on a motorcycle and take her for a ride. She passed away before I could make good on my promise. So I name my bikes in her honor. I want someone to airbrush her name onto my bike and her date of birth and date of death.

Wife’s 1st bike was a Rebel 250 with the Hawk on the side covers.
Her favourite movie is Lady Hawk so she named her Honda Izabo.
Wife's 2nd bike was a Monster M600 Metallic she called Rosa.
If you went to a GTA bike show between 2002 & 2007 you probably saw Rosa with her fiesta red metallic tank.
Wife’s 3rd bike was a Ducati 650 Indian. She wrote the story of how she got the bike which appeared in MotoDesmo as well as Motorcycle Mojo. She wanted to call the story Kisses for her Knight or Knight Kisses. A friend translated it as di Notte Baci. We later learned that that means kisses at night. Anyway, di Notte became Dino.
Dino now lives in Italy but that’s another story which leads to her present bike.
The wife received an M796 ABS with extras in trade for Dino. One black bike for another.
In his original satin black finish he looked all Mad Max like and so that’s what she called him.
However, once all the extras showed up he lost that menacing look and so now he’s just Max.
For our silver wedding anniversary we gave each other a then new 1998 Ducati 900 SS Final Edition.
Growing up I was Lone Ranger fan so the bike had to be called Silver. Although I spell it silFEr for obvious reasons.
Yes, it has many mods from stock, the biposto seat being the most notable.
The latest member of our family is my 675 MV F3. While coming home from picking her up I happened to look in the rear view mirror (I had to tow her from Ottawa) and was lost in the beauty of the curves on her red upper fairing. For some unknown reason a line from Richard Thompson’s song Vincent Black Shadow came to mind, “...says Red Molly to James, that's a fine motorbike...” and so she became Red Molly.
I've got "Blood-bag Ballista". I've come up with a bunch of names that go like: two hyphenated words standing for an unskilled/unfortunate rider and a projectile weapon. All three words start with the same letter. I'm dumping for interest; borrow freely 8)!
