Do you listen to music while riding?

I choose not to. It's too distracting for me. My mind wanders enough on its own while riding. How about you. (Again, there's no judgement here.)

Yes. 99% of the time and I hear everything else as well.

never use to, but now I couldnt go without! Actually find it helps me focus... not sure how that works, but when no music I tend to think about useless crap. At least with music I am tuned in yet still focused on the road.

I don't in the city during the daily commute. When I get out of town for a boot or a full day then definitely listening to tunes as it makes it more enjoyable.

you got it in one...some studies have shown the same. Mind wanders or goes to sleep.

I like earphones with a microphone as that control is an off and skip as well. Ultimate Ears for me.

Never listen to music, but I often sing loud and obnoxiously.

+1. My mind never stops. Need music to distract and allow me to focus.

I find my mind wanders less with music, but maybe that's just me. I also use ear plugs, and find in doing so I can keep the music quite low which still allows me to hear things around me.

I have the impression that when I listen to rock (Q107) in my car, I become a more aggressive driver.

In the city no. Everywhere else yes. Not loud but just enough to hear over wind noise etc. I don't see anything wrong with it

City commute no music, but I have recently discovered that long back road rides I do enjoy listening to music. Also use it for GPS voice guidance and keep the volume low enough to hear horns, sirens etc...

I listen to music for any ride longer than 30mins. I play it loud and it forces me to check my mirror and pay more attention to my surroundings.
