Do you crank it up beyond reasonable limits?

I too was out about in the Hamilton backroads on my gs500. Even a little bike like that feels good to give it some throttle when no one is around! I'm still learning though so I'm trying to keep it safe.

Considering that cops cruise this site, I wouldn't be advertising that you're breaking the law routinely.

FWIW, I never exceed the speed limit.:)

Do what you do.......just dont pull over.....providing you know how to ride!!!!

Back roads and narrow with ups and down - perception of speed is much fun even if it's rarely above 120. Some of those side roads in the escarpment and Hockley area are much fun.
"Course then there is Pennsyslvania.....sigh.

Almost nicked today up near Hockley - was 40 over after passing when a radar cop went by - but he was tailgating the guy in front of him. :confused1:

Saw his brake lights come on but he did not turn around

Took it easy until I go on some more rural stretches. That TN run just begs to be wailed on but damn low speed limits - too much gravel and random cagers.....

Worst today was a rather wobbly biker coming off a corner on the white line just as I was leaning into it....little set up adjustment required..that's usually a cager move crowding the white line.

The Burgman is fun up to 150 and gets there quick enough thanks to the power button....aka BIG GRIN button - I think that's enough fun - mind you that James Bay Road was tempting for higher speeds sustained 'cept for the troughs they call ^^s

Whenever I encounter a police cruiser, I'm exactly 5 km/hr under what the officer would consider a safe speed. Shush about the TN run, Mac Doc. I know it will eventually be overrun by squids, cops and subdivisions, but for now, it's a pleasant ride. The gravel gives it CHARACTER.

Nope, not since 172 was put into action. I prefer not getting my driving privileges at work taken away while I have a suspended license. I hate riding the truck as captain; the extra money is good but the responsibility and writing response reports suck.

Normally accidentally because I don't look at my speedometer. Told my gf once "Hope you're not scared of high speeds, I'll probably be doing 110 down hwy 7". When I was actually on hwy 7, my gf yelled at me for going 160 <_____<

I've looked down a few times at the speedo on the back roads and did the math, needless to say I think it's time to grab a cheap track bike and start doing track days to "get it out of my system".
