Do It All Boots Recommendations

I've almost worn through the soles of my current boots, a pair of Alpinestars SMX6. They have served me well, and will continue to serve me well as cold weather boots as they aren't vented or perfed. Help me find my next pair as I have some pretty picky requirements!
  • "Fast" to get in and out of
  • Good for Track Days
  • Comfortable for a full day of back roads
  • Can walk around in a Timmies parking lot with
  • Summer dry weather only
  • Cost can be justified ($700 Sidi Rex Airs are on the short list for example)
  • Not too loud (fashion wise).
  • My leathers go to just above my ankle bones. They are too long/I have short legs. The boots will need lots of calf adjustment.
Some options I have looked at were SIDI Mag-1 Air(only available in White), SIDI Rex Air, Alpinestars SMX Plus v2 Vented. I plan to keep these boots indefinitely so spending for a quality item that fits my needs is no problem.
 
Daytona Evo sports. Ugly, but you will never buy another brand of boot again.

Check's all of your requirements except for Fashion.

BMW made some boots that met the vast majority of your requirements but I'm not sure about their durability on a track.

Forma makes a nice full line of riding boots. The leather is top quality, soft enough to not need breaking in, fasteners are all good and the soles don't rip off too easy. Used then working the chainsaw today, going to wear them hiking tomorrow (y)

The Supertech R's don't seem very quick and easy to get into. Its actually why I listed the SMX Plus V2 instead, even though they are very very close. The inner bootie while a fantastic idea from an external hard parts point of view, seem like they could be very fiddly to get your foot in without shifting. I have not had a chance to try them on as they weren't on display at GP.

The Mag-1 Air seems simliar to the Supertechs in terms of internalizing much of the protection. As your description is something that can only be learned having worn them for a while, I'll definitely keep that in mind for what to look for. I didn't notice it right away but thats something that sounds like it would be irritating after a while.

I've never seen the Forma Hornet or Freccia. I only know the Forma Adventures and they don't have toe sliders. Not appropriate for track use.

That reminds me that I'm waiting on a pair of Forma Terrains from Dualsport Plus.

I have a pair of Forma Adventure boots, but the ankle stabilization is just thick leather, and the soles look like they'd be hard to replace.

The Adventures, you could walk all day in, which isn't very common. I'm hoping that the Terrains are similar.

What is it you are after again? A track boot that is:
  • Comfortable for a full day of back roads

  • Summer dry weather only
... and does not make you look like a power ranger. Which is easy, just wear them under your pant legs.

btw: Steel toe clips like the ones pictures above are a great way to get hurt on smooth rock or pavement, they are slippery as all **** when you touch a toe down.

I bought a pair of Forma Terra earlier summer, great boot and very comfortable.
I only wear them on rides where I know I'm heading offroad, I wear a pair of Icon Patrol short boots for street rides.
