Has anyone ordered tires from www.discountmotorcycletires.ca ?

I can get Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's (120/70 & 180/55) delivered to my door, all in, for $337 CDN... which means you almost get the front for free when compared to Canadian tire prices.

I know I can get them cheaper online in the US but then I'm either paying to bring them across the border or paying EVEN MORE than in Canada to have them delivered to a preferred installer and installed there (I'll install them myself here).

A while back i picked up a set of Pilot Powers (not the 2CT's mind you) for $270 out the door. There are several local shops that have really good tire prices. If you're willing to ride to Woodstock try Bluestreak Racing
 
Well colour me surprised, there ARE some options locally. Just gotta take into account shipping (in some cases it's free) or my time and gas... but then a trip to a bike store is always a good trip.

I personally have never bought from him but I see the ad all the time on Kijiji.
Just make sure to check the date codes on the side to make sure they havent been sitting around for too many years.
 
I've used https://www.kinek.com/kpointC/Home.action on a few occasions. Costs me $10 and typically shipping is free in the US. I drive over and pick it up, declare at the border and so far half the time they say ok thanks and let me go, so tax savings there also. It might be worth considering since the drive from Hamilton to the UPS store in Lewiston isn't that bad.

I was looking for a rear for my ST, BikeBandit and Revzilla had my tire for $156. First quote I got was $212 here at home. I was about to pull the trigger but Revzilla was out of stock on my size. BB had it in stock but shipping was $9. I got another local quote of $182. Compared to $156+9+10 = $175, all of a sudden it wasn't worth the drive for me to save $7 plus tax. But often the price difference is well worth it.

I do not have any affiliation to this place, just think it's a great service.
