Didn't add enough fuel stabilizer before storage

Well I run 91 in everything. Drain the carbs and call it a day. Sure the fuel in my tank it's few months old, but I don't notice issues in starting or running in the 10+ years of going this route. Ethanol is the enemy

87 octane is good for the small engine repair places come spring time.

You should try and run 87 ethanol free in your vtx and report back.

I use sea foam much better than stabil in my opinion

It also cleans the fuel path when run. It's a magic bullet.
"dissolves and cleans fuel and oil residues and deposits, stabilizes fuel, controls moisture, and lubricates upper cylinders" ...that's their sales line. Either way, when mine ran rough I ran some thru a few tanks and it cleared up. I don't believe any thing else, but this one did work. Never added it to oil though.
