New battery for the DL650 but just put the charger on the scooter. Scooter charge went badly. It did take the charge and runs fine. I think the mice snacked on the charger wires over the winter. Old charger with no auto off or crossed cable shut off.

unwinterized the 08 r6s today, battery was on tender over winter, drained out old gas put fresh gas in......bike no start :(((((( still trying to figure out the problem, could be the spark plugs.

Why did you drain out the old gas? No Sta-Bil in it?

I did put stabilizer in at the end of last season but no work so I drained it for my lawn mower later and put in fresh gas, praying that would solve the problem but prayers not answered.
 
i had mine out mid feb, altho just for a quick ride across town.

I still have some wiring to finish up and and oil change, and then it's gtg.
 
Totally forgot to winterize while I carried out maintenance over the last few months. Did a shakedown last night, rode to work this morning. No problems. Life is good again.
 
still fighting to get the oil filter off spent hours last night. Perserverence. Safety tomorrow then freedom

Jam a screwdriver in it and use that as leverage.. has always worked in the past for me..

-it's too dangerous to ride right now. cagers aren't expecting us to be on the roads.
-there's too much salt.
-tires won't stick
-anyone excited to ride right now is just a newb that doesn't have 10,000cc's.
