Did YOU lose a sportbike passenger seat?

I found a passenger seat from a supersport.

If you lost one Thursday, MAY 31; I may have it.

I'm not going to post where it was or what bike it fits, because if you lost it, you'd already know that info ;)


Somebody must need this thing back.

dude who lost it has probably bought a new one by now.
 
A buddy of mine lost a back seat from a blue SV650. If that's what you found, please let me know so I can tell him to contact you.

Well now that's just too easy. Where's the fun in doing that lol. Still, I've got a pint that says my assumption is right.
 
If it is Red/Orange it is my friends. He lost it on our ride from Whitby to North York.
 
if it is near the airport and it is from a Yamaha R6 (03-05) or R6S, my friend lost hers... let me know if you have it... I'm sure she'd love to have it back
 
What's with everyone losing their seat? Next thing you know someone is gonna post that they found someone's nuts. Anyone lose one from a hard wheelie landing?
 
The day was in fact MAY 31... Sorry about that. Today is calendar flipping day, so naturally, I forgot which month had just past, as the name is no longer right in front of my nose, lol.

Found it last evening on the during the commuting hours, posted up this morning when I got in.

How in hell do you guys lose a seat? Does it snap off with the person sitting on it? If you are not carrying a passenger than why in hell did you have it for?
 
This buddy might be me (Do I know you TheNewDude?) I lost mine off of my blue SV going from Oakville to Toronto on the 403/Gardiner. Would likely still have a rubberized webbing attached to it if it's mine. Though it would have been out there for the better part of a month by now.

Yeah it does snap on, but if you pulled something from your trunk and then got distracted by someone talking to you, you can sometimes forget to push it down enough to click it in. At a glance it looks like it's solid, but will fall off from bumps and wind at speed. That's what happened to me at least.

+1, my seat cowl went flying off on the Gardener after over an hour of riding...
I didn't care so much for the seat cowl but my limited edition Oakley's also went flying. I was determined to get them back, we traced our steps and I saw them on the opposite side of the highway where there is about a foot of shoulder space...Needless to say I ran across managed to get them both and live
 
I am thankful for a one piece seat :)
