Did you hide your bikes expense from your spouse?

Full disclosure here, all 30k+ of my latest bike purchase went through my wife first. When I bought the bike my dealer even offered the option to manipulate the bill of sale to a lower amount for my spouse. Apparently it's common practice these days. Lmao.

I'm disappointed on what I've read.

A bunch of you should have your Mancard revoked, if your wife doesn't have it already in the same purse she keeps your balls.

Did you guys give up your manhood and individuality when you got married? WTF is this nonsense about:

"running expenses through wifey before purchasing anything"

Does she own you? Is she your mom?

or

"I mention I'm going to buy this/that, but just as an fyi" ? this IS asking for approval.

You both make your own money, living expenses are taken care of by both, a chunk goes to piggy bank, the remaining is for whatever the fack you please to do with it.

End of story.

What bike did you purchase?

I disagree with that statement... 'May I' is seeking permission. An FYI... 'this is what I'm buying... like it or not!'

In the early days, I would FYI my wife on a purchase just out of courtesy... she would say "Oh no you're not..." "Don't you dare...". After that, I didn't even bother with an FYI. Noboby needs that crap! I earned good money, if I wanted to purchase something, I went out and got it...

Still have possession of Balls and Mancard...

:occasion5:

I make all my own decisions and do what I want. My wife said it was ok.

Sounds like you know it all... good on you for being such a man.

If I share a joint account with my wife, who also has a career and works her *** off just like I do... everything is 50/50 as far as I'm concerned. I'd be an ******* to assume I can take a significant portion of her hard earned money to support MY expensive hobby without talking it through with her.

Since when is manhood defined by how big of an ******* you are? Lame.

Ha...... HA. Oh Joe... Spit up some of my coffee.

Been with my spouse for 8 1/2 years, we keep our money separate and expenses go 50/50. I tell her i'm going to buy something (if it's over $1000ish), because I generally want her opinion if I'm being retarded.

These days I think it would be selfish not to keep her in the know.

In 2009 I bought a Mitsubishi Evolution X MR.... I showed up in the driveway and said "Surprise honey look what I got" That did not go over so well.......................

Needless to say, my balls are securely fastened and I can openly discuss these things with her.

Hide the bike invoice or hide the invoice for the heated leather masturbation chair w. built in massager. Your call.

Or don't get married in the first place.

It's very demeaning for a man that works for a living to have to get permission from his wife/girlfriend to be able to go out and make a purchase. Small things like going out for a few beers with buddies after work (that reminds me, I need another pint... brb)........ ......... ........ buying fishing gear, computer parts, a new motorcycle... etc, etc...

A question for you guys... does your girlfriend/wife ask your 'permission' to buy a new pair of shoes or outfit, or a shyte load of expensive cosmetics, or to have her hair/nails done, or to go out with the girls from work? I'd hazzard a guess at 'No'...

Many hitched women like to change/control their men... If the man, ahem.... 'mouse'... allows his woman to walk all over him, then he is just handing over his balls and mancard to her.

You'll get more pleasure from your bike than your woman... guarenteed!!!

When I want to 'ride' my bike.... she never says that she has a headache... :headbang:

Sounds to me like a really good way to get over your eyeballs into debt.

Communication is supposed to be a good thing.

Fail, if you've put Excellent Communication Skills on your CV.

How many shoes or purses would be the equivalent of some of those nicer motorcycles? My wife has a killer closet off our master bedroom that cost us a fortune. Between stocking it and the renovation we probably spent close to $8,000.
So while I definitely see your point. Isn't it fair to say that any couple has the right to question each other's purchases? As long as it's a fair, open, two sided discussion. (Which, to be frank, doesn't sound like is the case with a lot of other women)
On another point my wife and I do well for ourselves in our respective industries. Right now my pay is a bit higher than hers. But that just means that I end up handling more of the mortgage's. But I've maxed out... No more money to be made without big changes. So she'll soon surpass me as her corporate ladder goes much further. As she makes more money, we'll simply increase our mortgage payments to suit. So the amount of extra we have will never really change. Tadaa no more issues! Lol

Bunch of wimps. Most of you will be divorced or miserable eventually

No doubt. I can't imagine being afraid to tell my wife about a purchase of something I want. At worst it should be a discussion on why it's a bad idea lol and at least it should involve what needs to happen to make it happen.

My wife never has a headache either. From the above statements I believe you may be doing something wrong.................

If you can't defend a purchase to someone who loves you and wants the best for you, you're either doing something very wrong, or there's no justification. In either case, it's time for a rethink.

If one is working and is making good money, one should not have to defend oneself on relatively small purchases.

Case closed...
