anyone else catch it?

Wow... probably one of the best season endings of any show I've ever watched...
Not going to spoil it for people who haven't seen it though...

Just curious if anyone else thinks it's a fantastic ending to this season...

That was a great EP!!! I cant wait for next season? Do you know when it starts?

They always start around late September / Early October area, But they also signed on for 2 more seasons as well :D
 
Thx for letting me know another season is done. I can't be bothered downloading individual episodes. My wife won't watch Dexter anymore (Rita leaving the show really upset her).
 
I will still continue to watch the show but the plots are getting thinner than a thin man on nothing but a water and Slim Fast diet, who stopped eating a week ago. Way too many holes to make it even remotely plausible.

Kinda agree. Haven't seen the season finale yet though but the show is somewhat running out of steam and there was a few things this season that made me go "WTF?". Hopefully this decline doesn't continue or the show will go completely down the toilet in another couple seasons.

Season 5 was pure drivel and trash... almost made me stop watching the show actually...
This season is SOOO much better - wonder if the writers of season 5 were fired and replaced with the old crew again or something along those lines.

Couple interesting twists with Deborah's thought process though I must say.

I picked 3 or 4 holes in last nights episode alone. The whole concept is running out of steam. Like I said, it's getting thinner and thinner. What made it dark and eerily depressing has long gone.
 
I enjoy the program but must admit that it has become predictable. Thin is a pretty good way to describe it.

Boardwalk Empire...that's where it's at for me now!

I have felt that way about the last 2 seasons. Trinity was by far the best season and thus it set the bar very high.

I really don't get the excitement about this season or the ending. C'mon admit it they just gave you the ending they teased last season. So many plot device fails and it almost seemed like 2 sets of writers were handling this season because there were so many elements they didn't do justice at the end. I felt very let down by how they incorporated the rest of the Brother Sam storyline and I felt the therapist was wasted as a plot device. It was like they were already concentrating on next season and setting it up at the expense of this season and its characters.

I slated the first series of Boardwalk but was very impressed with the second series.
 
Sure.. the seasons have been getting weaker, but you have to admit, this one was soooo much better than Season 5.
I still say season 2 was the best (Bay Harbour Butcher) of the bunch.

Season 2 was pretty awesome. Season 1 kinda drew my attention but season 2 made me a fan. Each episode thickened the plot line.

Sorry but IMHO Season 5 was substantially better. I agree that Season 2 was the best though, than 4. Best two seasons easily.
