Harley Davidson demo event for 2012 models are in town. They were in Mississauga yesterday, Richmond Hill today, and will be at HD of Toronto next Saturday, and I think Kitchener the day after.

I really like Suzuki's demo rides ; they're informal and include a long 40 minute route , at least at my location . Unfortunately it looks like they've canceled the last ride of the season in Barrie b/c on their site the date is yet to be determined .
I'd make the run out to Kitchener if you really want to try something. The HDTo route sucks.

Kahuna demo days are the weakest, disappointing day (i emailed to specifically know if its a pre register demo day like they have done or is it just show up, they said is first come/serve - I show up and you have to talk to a sales person to sign up for a bike. Retarded organization, 2 different things said, low bike selection and they didn't have what I want anyway, got a free t and hat and some other things, 10 off coupon so I got oil. Really crappy promotion too, 6 people were there when other demo from other places theres lines ups. Im sure no one even went out. Soft 2.5 / 10

Just got back from the kahuna ride, and like you said, it was crap. Was told on the phone that an M2 rider w/ 2 years on the lisc can ride a ZX6. Get there and its M only :/ At least I got 2 t shirts + hat.

That's odd because I rode the Ninja 1000 this summer at one of their demo days and I only had an M2 at the time. I booked that ride ahead of time. Loved the bike, hopefully when I'm ready to move up there will be some used ones around.
This is definitely on my calendar for next year. Does one have to pre-register for an event ticket to this event?

It was only a Kawasaki "demo" day, there was the zx6r - needed full M, if you had it your good but you still needed to sign up with one of the sales people.

I have been to Daytona for demo rides twice. I enjoyed the experience and learned a lot.
Specifically, I do not need a powerful Yamaha crotch rocket,
and the Kawasaki I rode was a real treat. Don't ask about that ride.

Well , lol , I must assume that Suzuki has canceled the last demo ride of the season in Barrie b/c there's still no update on their site . Very disappointing considering the first ride was also canceled due to rain . Would have loved to have rung out a 'busa before winter !
