Damn Squirrels and why you should do a pre ride check.

Sitting here at work and a squirrel comes by looking for a place to stash a nut. It jumped up my chain guard and onto the rear tire, then crawled along the chain guard and decided wedging the nut between the case and the front sprocket was a good spot.

I suppose its better than a mouse building a house in the air box.

LOL...this was a customers truck that came in with a burning smell...Ya it's got a Hemi!

Damn squirrels chewed the top off my bbq cover and my neighbors.

The squirrels keep teasing my dog. My dog thinks he's protecting the backyard from them. Poor dog.

Recipe, please.

Simple ... I started my riding mower up a couple springs ago and wound up with an engine fire ... little buggers made a nest deep in the engine, wound up with;
- cooked baby squirrels. :(
- burnt spark plug wire
- melted plastic filter box
- frantic wife pouring squirting water on a hot engine!!!

Standard spring startup now includes full dis-assembly and cleaning (yes, they still love the hollow between the cylinder head and carb filter).

Hey! If you're going to start eating squirrels, please eat the black ones. The grey ones are being genetically pushed out because the black fur gene is dominant. At least, that's what I've heard.

KK thanks for that advise!

I thought they were both the same species, just different phases. Either way they are both (or it is) invasive as they were brought over from England I believe. The red squirrel is indigenous (sp?) to North America.

Lol. Just found a chestnut in the casing jammed between the the rear shock and the swingarm yesterday.
