Everyone has had the moment of panic when you are far from home and you bike wont start...then you check you kill switch and think "Wow im an idiot".

Lol happens to everyone.

It does. My current bike makes it harder for that to happen though; the screen stays blank if the kill switch is set to off... gives you another hint!

usually happens when there are girls looking at you at a gas station. makes it hurt all the more.

Nickname I picked up in high school cause people have been botching my last name since I was born, lol. Started as Macker and got shortened at some point in the rugby season. Also my last name is North Irish, so it's got a Mc (mick) but people think it's Mac. When I started emphatically correcting people they did it for the lulz and here we are

If it makes you feel better, when I bought my first bike the guy dropped it off - I had test ridden it around the block

I tried starting it after he left (so I didnt look like a total noob) - could not for the life of me.

I almost wept a river and burned down the house until i found out on line that it was the kill switch.

I left mine in 1st with kickstand down..would not start one bit (two weeks after buying it) so frustrated thinking something is wrong because i pulled the clutch in still nothing...turned out even with clutch in, if kickstand is down and bike not in neutral it never starts..lesson learned lol
