Dainese leather jacket deals

I was at GP this weekend and the had a bunch of Dainese stuff on sale 25%off. I picked up a Racing Pelle Leather for 495. Might be worth checking out.

I picked up a Dainese entry level suit at the show, and seems to be better quality than my Astars GP-R jacket I grabbed in 2012. I also tried on one of Astars entry level suits, and the quality difference was quite noticeable. The Dainese was more expensive, but it felt like you were getting what you paid for. I love both companies, and think they both make top tier gear.
 
The models in question is dainese crono p estiva and alpinestars gp pro. I find the zippers and flaps to be and afterthought on the dainese. Leather is quality on both.

RONING- I still think most people wear these jackets because people like vr46 or nh69 rock them and thats ok, nothing wrong with that. but to dismiss other brands as garbage and bad quality is a little :confused2: in my opinion.

true enough....Torsional Wear Armoured Track is what you young people want....much better than this Dainese stuff...plus it has really cool patches all over it you can wear to build brand awareness.

People like VR46 and NH69 rock them because it keeps them safe when going 300+kmh 'round a bend....

I ended up with the Crono P. Estiva! I'll agree with the flaps being an afterthought, but that didn't bother me much, they are just there to cover over the zippers when they are closed, dont seem bulky in a boot or glove, and the front is practically hidden when the suits on so it wasn't too much of an issue for me. How did you find the suit worked in action?

Just got it. Haven't ridden in it yet. It's my first one piece and I find it crazy pre curved off the bat. Which I like.
