I was at the march show and saw the Dainese Racing Pelle Leather Jacket at gp bikes they had for 479 + tax and regret not grabbing it. Is there any other places having deals on the jacket?

Thanks

In that case, I suggest you visit GP Bikes, and tell them you wanted to buy the jacket at the show but missed the opportunity and you'd like to know if they can match their show price.

how much of a discount can this guy give? I'm in the market for a Dainese jacket as well, but typically from what i've found Dainese jackets do not get discounted.

They do most of the time on textile jackets, other then that not much on leathers. Def gpbikes or rider choice.

If anyone wants a brand new / never used Dainese Avro size 50 / 60 Eur, you can have it for the price I paid at the Jan show (from RC).
PM for more info.

What is so good about dainese jackets that people are willing to pay retarded prices for them? icon makes better looking jackets (in my opinion) and don't cost as much. Why is this brand any different?

You think ICON makes better looking jackets? well then...

I think Dainese makes the best looking jackets by far, and is probably, the closest you can rock fashionably. Nobody comes close to their designs.

But best thing about them for me is the fit. A 48 Dainese fits me like it's a custom jacket.

Why do people pay retarded prices for those Panagale's? Ninja 250s look better and they are so cheap.

Seriously though I've had Icon and A* and the quality is definitely noticeably better on A*. Dianese look very well made as well but I have never owned one.

I've got an entry level dainese one piece and I find my mid level Astars jacket to be better quality. I guess it's not a fair comparison tho.

That's comparing apples to volcanos. There is a definite quality difference and yes I have owned both.

Dainese has to pay huge endorsements that reflect in the price .You want the best try Kushitani . They even raise their own cattle for their hides .

Dainese jackets look and feel great because the quality is at a different level for sure. Agree that it's best to go to GP and talk to them directly--they seem pretty helpful there. Maybe look at Revzilla for an idea of what US pricing is and convert it back to CAD as another data point.

Roland Sands is more my style for casual weekend riding if I were to spend that much though. But really, anything that you can afford that you like, is safe and fits great works.
