A beige K75? No way! I thought it was a scooter until I got beside it...

Nice to finally see one of my photo subjects say 'that was me'. i think you need a vintage Hein Gericke riding suit to go along with your K75.

Toyota Camry vs VW Golf. Nothing too exciting.

*IMHO, the Golf driver should move the 'baby on board' sign from the rear window to on top of the steering wheel...

As I was putting my gear on, I was contemplating how the Italian bike was emblazoned with the Union Jack, meanwhile the Thai bike behind it is generally considered as British.

You're right FLSTC. the Hi-Viz jacket doesn't quite cut a retro look. It's even worse now that I bought a new helmet and retired the white Shoei in the photo.

Yes - battery drained. The key locks the switch in off position, but you don't leave the key in when riding - I don't usually lock the ignition switch at home - you also need the key fob to start it...

Tried a jump start (car not running) but no luck, strange. Left it with the smart charger but that shows an error code and didn't charge the batt during thr day. Gotta pull the battery to check further.

it's a gel battery. With the lights left on, was fully discharged.

Apparently the battery tender smart chargers (I have a Motomaster version) won't charge a battery below a certain voltage, i measured - it's at 5V now.

I connected an old 'dumb' trickle charger that I had in storage - voltage is rising slowly. Let's see how that works overnight.

A new HD AGM battery is $167+ tax. Ouch!
