I’ve never been. Is this a packed event? 700 entries means vintage bikes on display?
Rain or shine? Best time to spend a few hours? Thanks

We will be there Friday on the Ural. My trials club has a demo at noon at the infield.

Was there last year, enjoyed checking out the vintage and classic bikes.
The exhibitors were willing to chat and answer questions.
Some would even start up their bikes just so you could experience the sound of a motor from bygone times.

I've been going for decades and am looking forward to going on Saturday again.

It's busy, but I wouldn't call it packed, as it takes place outdoors on the Paris fairgrounds. There's hundreds of bikes in the parking lot, with examples of every conceivable style, type, make and vintage.

Inside there's lots more vintage bikes on display and for sale, plus a good sized swap meet with a healthy mix of oddities, good deals, treasures and junk. It's an interesting day of walking around. There's also a trials demo.

There are some nice country roads in the area too, and I expect strawberry season has started down there, which makes a for nice snack under a tree (for me).

Dang. Don't plan to leave until about noon.

I am glad I went, what a perfect day for a ride. 3 hours there (many detours) and 2.5 back and spent a couple of hours looking around.
Ran into @adv_round; thanks it was great hanging around with you.
Here’s his rocket ship and my tank, and a couple of cool bikes at the show.

It was a great day for a ride and for the rally.

It seemed busy and had lots of stuff to look at, and some good deals if you were looking for a project. I saw a Ducati single stuffed into a frame with old ice racer tires but didn't see a price. Also a couple of 1977/78 (?) RD400's, one looked complete for $2200, one less so for $700 or $800. There were plenty of good running British twins for reasonable prices and a many restored bikes for sale as well. One of these years I'm going to shake the cobwebs out of my wallet and buy something.

What happened to the Sunday Concourse and judging?

I'd never noticed the fork set-up on the Vision before.
Having seen many cruiser style, leading link forks. Would this be called a trailing link?
I only think of leading or trailing "link" when there is an actual pivot point. I would saying trailing axle.
