My Termignoni exhaust is too corked with the baffles/db killers in, and just slightly too loud without.

There’s an Ebay seller in Italy that makes something I want. Problems are that he doesn’t ship outside Europe, doesn’t speak english, and doesn’t answer emails in english or italian.

Stole the pics off some forums. the big problem is the kidney shape and odd radius curves. The shape is the same as the killers i have already. Are my chances zero, or less than zero, to find someone willing to fabricate something similar to
these?

You can probably find someone to do it but the price would be pretty ridiculous..

what's this about them not answering emails? did you throw them a google translate or something?

eBay sellers can place restrictions on selling area.

Some sellers see messages from outside of their selling area and just ignore it. They just don't want to bother explaining why they don't want to sell internationally or overseas, especially having to do so in another language. Sometimes the potential buyer can get belligerent or argumentative about it.

I was able to get a swingarm sleeve made up for a surprisingly low price at Quadra Machining in Whitby for my RC51 swingarm swap (SP2 swingarm in an SP1 frame). He was recommended by a bigger race shop who couldn't be bothered with a small one-off. Granted, what I got was all cylinder shapes, but when I asked him about copying some unobtainium machined aluminum frame slider mounts for the same bike, he didn't seem fazed by the idea.

He's a one man show, and very old-school, but might be worth a shot:

Which dimensions are critical? The drawings are horribly under dimensioned. No matter which path you go, someone will need to spend a decent amount of time creating a complete set of drawings before anything can be made. Knowing which dimensions aren't important speeds that up a lot. For instance, if inside radii are just for looks, that makes life far easier. If outside radii match the physical pipe that you have and can measure, again easier and better than photogrammetry.

How much is a new set of db killers? I would probably modify those to let more noise out instead of starting from scratch.

Two other options:

First (and likely easiest) is to use a reshipping service like this one:

Package forwarding from Germany to the world | ShipGerman

I've used something similar in the past from the US from a company called Shippsy (though I won't be using them anytime soon even if I was happy with their service). One thing to be aware of, though, is the forwarders are extremely cautious about duty and taxes, so you'll definitely pay the max amount.

Option 2 is a long shot and requires patience, but I'll be heading to Bologna in October for a few days, and the seller's office is a tiny town about an hour away. If you could figure out a pickup spot, I might be able to go get them and being them back. You'd still have to pay taxes/duty as I'm also going to Genoa, home of Carpi Moto, and will likely be grabbing some Brembo gear there (best prices on the planet), so I will already be using every penny and then some of my exemption coming home.

Isn't @adri going to Italy this summer?
How urgently do you need it?

Can it be purchased and shipped to Poland?
If so. I can arrange to have it shipped here fairly quickly and no additional customs.

Edit:
Just checked the listing and added a shipping address to my cousin's in Poland.
Looks like it will work.

PM me and we can work out details if you would like.

When is the last time your exhaust was repacked?
Bought it last year, so probably never.
In my humble experience however, packing will probably be fine and won’t quiet it down much by changing it. Mufflers have between 20k-30k on them

My packing was all blown out, once repacked it made it made a significant difference. Toned it down alot. But if yours is good and still packed it probably won't change much.

Leggi il primo post. Puoi ritirare un articolo in Italia e riportarlo indietro? @Wind Shear ha bisogno di un "DB killer"
Non è un 'killer di dB', è un 'liberatore di dB'...

If he can get it shipped to a mail box or something in a city I'm passing through I can help.

I wouldn't bring it back with me though. We've got two people on one motorcycle for a month, every square inch counts. If my girl runs out of panties again and I have to explain to her that she can't buy any new ones because we need the room for someone's bike parts, Wind Shear will be up two db killers and down two eyeballs lol

I could ship them to Canada while in Italy though.

This is a perfect plan to have her go pantie-less.

You can thank @Wind Shear later.
