Cruise scam call

I'd think German would work better. There isn't a word in that whole language that doesn't sound angry.

There's a reason why "romantic" and "german" doesn't go in the same sentence

I get these scammers once in a while...I just hang up, and if it's consistent, then I do the whole "so and so is deceased thing" or act like I don't understand English and start screaming Cantonese profanities loudly into the phone.

I wanna learn too!!!

Its funny I love German, hmmm thats an idea... I know a few words I could start repeating them? Just gotta get in the habbit of answering with 'allo' instead of 'hello' otherwise they can tell the language switch.

Your underwear is showing

SHHHHHHH!!! Dont ruin it for the rest of us!

speaking of scam calls:

my cousin gets a call from "Bell Canada" out of the blue, telling him that he's missed his last 2 automated payments and that his service will be canceled in 10 days. if he just provides a credit card, they can pay the $200 owed and ensure services resume. Sounded legit, almost had him fooled. ALMOST. He told the guy "send me a paper statement and I'll pay it at the bank, since my stuff is taken out automatically" the guy insisted he pay for it right away, so he's like "let me call you back"
Hung up on that call, called Bell directly from his phone (*611) and asked about his account, they say everything is in order and no unpaid balance.

Be careful when you get calls like this out of the blue.

I get fake bank calls once in a while... they want me to confirm my information. Really nothing is safe these days,

Immigrant advantage: My given name is very hard to say for the average English speaker, so as soon as I hear them use this name, 99/100 times it's a scam.
The odd time my bank has called me, they use my everyday/nickname.

"...this is your captain speaking". I forever hate the sound of ship horns.

I have been looking for an apartment for my son in Oakville while he attends college.

I spy an online ad... "Fully furnished 2 bedroom for $570.00".

The landlord says he is in England, send the first months rent to a courier company in the UK and he will ship me the key.

WTF...

If it sounds to good to be true, it is.

I'm still looking for an apartment for my son.
