rider down on 427 north ramp via 401

one of the female rider (apparently her name is ksenia) went down on the way to de blocke festival, she was in 401 keele group riding. it happend on the 427 north ramp,it was bad, but she was moving her body , i hope she is doing well (apparently she is doing well and in the hospital), she was on red 250 ninja,

Passed by when the cops were there. Looks like she wasnt wearing gear, arms rashed up as well as her legs. She seemed responsive and was moving. GWS rider.
 
I was part of the ride and saw her moments after the incident. Any updates on how she is doing? GWS rider.
 
I was on that ride, stopped and redirected traffic til police took over, and left as soon as her ambulance took her away. She was responsive and had lots of road rash. And the bike isn't as busted up as expected since witnesses said the bike flipped 3-5 times til it draggred to a stop.

I was in that group also and helped re directing traffic and blocking passers by taking photos (so disrespectful). Wish she was wearing at least a jacket, she probably could have been able to get up under her own power. She was a cute girl too.

Who is the guy that got man handled by the OPP officer? Are you going to file a complaint? He should be suspended because you didn't do anything.

Her name is actually Kesenia, she joined us on the Wasaga Ride. I was supposed to meet up with her and other girls at the Blocko event, but did not ride down with the group. When I heard that a girl on a Ninja 250 went down, I later found out it was her :( She's scratched up pretty bad, broke her pinky and is in hospital. She is actually very lucky considering it was a highway collision. Let this be a warning to everyone who rides squid. Gear is critical. GWS Kesenia.

She was pretty rashes up but moving

The OPP is an idiot he wanted him to move he was but I guess he was moving to slowly and man handled him to move or he will get arrested lol
 
It's so easy to not wear your gear when it's hot like it was today. But it's so crucial and can make all the difference in a crash.
Me personally I'd rather sweat then bleed.
Wishing the rider a full and speedy recovery.

GWS girl...

I was riding next to her for the first bit of the ride and then our groups got split up (collector vs express). I am glad she is relatively OK - nothing major.

I hope some people can learn from this unfortunate event to wear proper gear. I know summer is hot... but like the booya said its better to sweat than bleed.

I was riding with the group, but I was too far back to see the crash. Apparently it might have been because when she shoulder checked to the left, her bike followed where she looked and hit a spot on the road with loose debris.

From what I know, she will be just fine aside from road rash.
