I had one a month or so ago, figured at first it was one of those "new" cold viruses going around so I did not COVID test right away. Few days in, getting much worse, it showed up immediately on the test and then we took extra-extra quarantine measures at home.

That was too late, wife and cat had it a few days later. Kids were OK.

All those messages of washing hands etc during the main part of COVID certainly didn't have any impact. I work in the events industry and the things I see constantly is a bit shocking. The latest, I saw this guest wolf down some food (walking around while socializing) and then proceed to lick there fingers to "wash" them I guess, then start touching stuff. Not a kid either, a parent. Basic hygenie would go along way if people tried.

I can confirm these facts. I am definitely guilty of being a finger licker and a Harley rider.

My son was sick all of last week. Ended up at the ER twice in one week. Steroids and puffers etc.

It doesn't take much for him to get sick and it automatically attacks his lungs. It sucks for him and us as parents .

Couple of days ago my through feel scratchy and I'm feeling at about 98%.

Niece is a nurse, currently on her 6th round of Covid. Buddy of mine has long covid, 9 months later still very ill, hoping for the best.
I had it last summer, lasted a day or two, have all my shots ( got the toaster as added bonus). I'm still wary of public places so I limit my adventures out

covid is still around , its getting so common that many thinking flu or cold, probably dont bother testing.
