The short answer is that you can only recover on negligence. if they were not negligent, you can't recover even if you think the service wasn't what you expected.

Yes, I don't care to recove anything from them, just glad to be rid of them. Perhaps if they try to bill me an outrageous amount for work they did not do or did not do correctly, then I may do something. Other than that, at this point, I'll eat that cost in the end..

Well. its a done deal now. Neinstien it is. Your recomendations are the best choices available but unfortunately I did not know that at first and when I contacted them they did not seem eager to take my case which has already been messed up by another firm. Nienstien on the other hand has already cleared my bill with PLZ, lthough I'm certain to be paying for it in the long run. I feal they are going to stay on top of things for us. after all it can't possibly be worse than having a real esrate specialist FUBARing our case.

at least neinstein does know MVA's. PLZ isnt even in the personal injury business. diamond is new to it (despite what they say)

Just an update for those interested,
Greg Neinstein is working out great, all of our expenses and costs have been paid back and part of the settlement is being negotiated. Things are moving along just fine.

Your lawyers did their job, pay them.

If there is a time restriction of when you wanted to receive money, or a performacne incentive, you should have added that to the lawyers agreement.

Pay your lawyers - word gets around when people dont pay their lawyer especially if its from a settlement or funds etc etc - and youll have a hard time getting a lwyer without a retainer or without a significant retainer (deposit)
