Craft Beer: What are you drinking now??

I’ve been buying the LCBO holiday gift packs of Belgian beer. St Bernadus, Chimay etc. lovely stuff.
I single-handedly put a giant dent in their Belgian stock. I think St. Bernardus is simply my favorite beer of all time.

Swiss Chalet for dinner tonite. All they had was Bud Lite. I was thirsty and drank most of it. Sorry.
That is just called properly pairing the beer with the food....

Of course I am in the camp of the beer (or wine) doesn't always need to be fancy and/or hipster to enjoy it. I enjoy fine food often but also a Big Mac or say Kraft Dinner...

Really enjoying different types of stouts and hazy IPA's at the moment :)

Just got onto craft beer at the end of 2023, been an enjoyable journey so far.

Driving the stepdaughter back and forth to Montreal has its benefits. Quebec is spoiled for great beer.

Picked up some cans at my fave St Jacobs brewery. Chatted with a guy at the bar. His name is Stu. Last name Padaso.

Lots of choice in Quebec. Some great prices too. The 24 pack of Unibrou was 33 bucks.

Interesting that you say good prices.

When I was recently there I looked up pricing of beer in Metro QC an it was the same as our LCBO pricing.

I should clarify…the 24 was from Costco! You’re right, most single cans are $4 and up.

Costco in Quebec is selling beer?
Awesome!
Another reason why that province is so much more civilized than Ontario.

After 90km in the Ganny yesterday we popped back to buddies's place for his home brew. He grows his own hops.
He had a Red Maple something and a Shewinnigan handshake. Both went down great as we relaxed post ride.

Smashing a lot of Waterloo Grapefruit Raddler this summer.

They do make a good tasting radler.
Try the different flavours as they are all quite good.

I don’t have much use for their other beers.
Waterloo Dark maybe just for the nostalgia of the old Brick Brewing.
