"Our purpose is to do journalism"? Our purpose is to be trouble-making aholes with no benefit to society. Couldn't watch the whole video. They were just too annoying.
being annoying has absolutely zero to do with rights.

If you don't like his content, the sound of his voice or the colour of his eyes that's fine. He still has the same rights we all have. Or, based on the video, apparently he doesn't.

If your focus becomes being the person to enforce "rights" with no other purpose, you are just annoying and in my view do not benefit society (and almost always make it worse). That applies to the person driving 95 km/h in the left lane and the indignant "I have the right to be here" while openly antagonizing others for no purpose other than creating conflict (and potentially crap content). If you are trying to enforce rights with a purpose (eg. free speech where you actually have something to say) I am all for it.

Maybe you should have watched the video?

Can't stand them. But at the same time some of the stories they break are almost worth it.

If you watch some of the other talking heads, they look and sound more professional, but they don't ask the tough questions, and the ones they do are softballs, that seem to have been prepared by the interviewee's staff writer.

I watched the first 30% or so and there was just a lot of tussling and complaining about "my right to be here". I did not see any attempt to ask a useful question or present an opinion. If you haven't got to that point in the first 30% of your film, your intent is very clear.

Did they finally win their lawsuit with Trudeau over his banning them?

we can agree to disagree then. i found them using the private security guards head as a soccer ball especially alarming.

judge agreed the case should be fast tracked, i believe it will take a few months until we get a verdict.

EDIT: I see them quoting July 13th, guess that may be the verdict date.

A line drawn in the sand with stupid on both sides of it.
This stuff draws a conflict in me. On one side you have a right-wing media outlet and a group of left wing protesters hosting an occupation. Each has their purpose which are at odds with each other -- Rebel is there to exert certain rights and uses the 'spectacle' of a sit-in to sensationalize their position. The other side is camping in the square in an effort to abolish police in Toronto.

To me this is just a comedic sideshow, Dumb meets Dumber.

In an earlier post someone put up a video of some raving lunatics challenging a county medical officer on the use of masks - made you think Americans are pretty dumb. Perhaps this video shows us we may have the same level of dumbness?

It still blows me away there are no temporary farm workers in Canada that qualify for the jobs.

If you saw first hand how they live while they are here you would understand. My bil ran an apple farm for years that was tended to by Jamaicans exclusively. It isn't much different than a cotton plantation. They live in a bunkhouse with a tiny kitchen and a shared bathroom. No women or alcohol allowed.i think they are paid less than minimum wage. Most of them send all their money home. One of them has been taking care of that orchard for almost 20 years. Nobody from our workforce would be able to do the job.
