Point was somebody wanted to call me stupid previously because I said it was a zoonoses and they wanted to believe it required human receptors. Those receptors are called lungs.
... where do you think the Tiger got it from? = humans.

probably.....looks like it mutated then. Thing is.....as long as you stay away from tigers you’re good.

Back to that mutated thing :/ this thing does not need to mutate it is doing just fine in its current form.

no indications that it is transmissible back to humans at all right now....

wake me up when pet cats get it and are spreading it around Ontario......which would have been reported by now since the world and its pets have been dealing with this for quite a few months.

seriously...just stay away from tigers if you’re worried ?

Worldometers added some new stats. They now have cases/1M pop and tests/1m pop. In the US, the state with the highest tests/1M pop is NY with 15,000/1,000,000 (with over 40% positive). Obviously they are targeting the suspected cases so the percentage in the general population will be much lower, but they have ~985,000 out of every 1,000,000 people not tested. Holy frig. The total number of people that are actually infected would be mind-boggling if they could come up with an accurate number. The stats we currently see for covid cases could easily be off by more than an order of magnitude.

Say Hi Ben

Self entitlement is a partner in crime with covid19.

You mean like my S-I-L who decided that she wanted her birthday party on a beach in Mexico with about a dozen people from all over the USA flying in. She got back two weeks ago and has sort of isolated. She's a hygienist so what does tell you about the difference between education and intelligence.

BTW with a world population of about 7.8 billion and 365 days in a year about 21 million people share the same birthday. Yes snowflake you are special, just like the other 21 million.

Did you know that in a random group of forty people it is very likely that two have the same birthday?

some reading is suggested, even wikipedia would be a good start

people, and tigers, and viruses can have unique individual properties
some of these atypical combinations can cause atypical results

you seem sour, didnt make the guest list??

That's not Ben, I know that.

you guys would make terrible zoo keepers most of your animals would die

There is no end to the depth of american stupidity is there? The number of retards I see on the regular posting about losing their 'fReDmZ' and economic opportunity is endless, apparently its too much to ask for people to stay home and avoid crowds for a month to save grandma without going into stupid Orwellian conspiracy theories about the 'gubment'

Pinecrest is currently at 26 out of 65 dead and counting. Are there still people on here that want to argue that based on percentages this isn't a problem?

Obviously this was a vulnerable group, but there are countless other nursing homes a few weeks behind pinecrest so we will see this tragedy repeat again and again for a while.

EDIT:
Apparently 46 long-term care homes in Ontario with known Covid outbreaks now. :(

I feel bad for her family, unfortunately have a feeling that we're going to see many more stories like this
