The historical treasures the monarchy flashes around are interesting to see.
 
The monarchy will float on for a long time yet, the tourist money coming to see all the stuff the British stole in museums , the palaces and castles . Chuck and his brood are worth billions .

Coronations are about display of massive wealth and power . Maybe not so much authority anymore , but holy crap the wealth is staggering.

Versailles brings in more visitors/tourists than the Brit Royal venues and their royal family have a headache (and life) free existence

Apparently the Aussie PM is a fan. Nick was one of the +12 in his entourage to the show.

He's not started out too well spending $125 million on this bit of fluff while many of his commoners ar forced to make decisions like whether to turn on their heat or feed their families. Talk about being out of touch :mad:

When have royals been worried about the common folk / poor? It’s their fault for being poor and not working hard to get themselves out of poverty.

Unlike the royals…they earned their spots…

People change. John Lydon has made several statements about how much he liked the Queen in recent years.
