On the other note, anyone tried LoJack?

if you chain it by the tire you deserve to get your bike stolen.
then where should we chain it? chain the swing arm, thieves can still remove rear wheel then rear axle to remove chain. chain the forks, thieves can take the forks off.
lol. i suppose if you have a naked bike you can chain around the headers.
yeah lots of noise and sparks, most smart people will move on to an easier target and if you chain it by the tire you deserve to get your bike stolen.
Lucky, my condo BLD is allowing me to anchor something to the wall or floor.
If you canot drill , will they let you throw a big chunch of plate down in yr spot with loops welded on ? I would expect new it could be found for less than a buck a lb. Maybe used a lot less from a scrap/salvage dealer . 1/4 plate is about 10 lbs a square foot .
40 cent a lb .. get 2 1/4 plates , bolt an anchor through both , or have someone burn a hole through them for a chain . About 250 bucks and you can park on top of them . You could even paint them black for a camo effect if needed. The beauty of 2 1/4 inch sheet is 2 guys hand handle each one if they are carefully, One guy can handle one if yr careful and plan yr moves carefully !

Get an alarm of any kind that has a shock or tilt sensor and a proximity sensor. Get a few friends from UofT or something in chem/engineering that know how to make stuff explode. Find a way to trigger the compound using the alarm if:
- The proximity sensor stays on for x seconds AND the tilt/shock sensors go off.
Issues with the unrefined idea above:
- Extremely high potential of exploding on idiot kids that want to sit on your bike (I don't know if this is a con lol)
- Alarms themselves are unreliable and sometimes go off for no reason. You don't want to cause a Michael Bay movie scene for no reason.
- Very high chance of exploding yourself; I had a Scorpio SR-i900, I triggered that alarm more than anyone else did lol
To further the theory crafting and stupidity, there are multiple ways to increase the power of the explosion, such as putting the compound in a grenade like object in your gas tank; you risk explosions while riding though.
Make sure you write in big ****ing bold letters on your seat: if you take this it will explode.
Fine Print: I am not responsible if you're stupid enough to attempt this.
I see the constant postings of stolen bikes from condo parking garages, this seems like a great security product... IF you can convince the building management to allow you to install it.

A bit pricey, but it looks like it would keep your prized possession safe.

That's called booby trapping and will land you in jail, long time.

HERBXX, I bowe to you and hatts off... this is the best for outside parking, and a friend with motorcycle drooled over the idea... thank you.
