Computor gurus?

Thanks GG. I now have the svg file on my desktop. How much work is it to alter this image? Not sure if my image was the same but this one looks like the bottom was shaved a bit and the radii at the bottom of the letters does not seem to meet tangentally like it they do at the top of the letters.

Can't get that new file attached now to show you????

And now you see the pain of auto-convert. Like text-recognition, it often gets you 95% of the way but there are still corrections necessary to get to 100%.

As for how much work, that depends on you and software. Download inkscape (or 30 day trial of illustrator) and use that to modify the paths you don't like.

EDIT:
I see hiccups at the bottoms of letters, top of the first e, pupil shapes if you really care, decreasing radius on the r, top of the m and r. Would a person looking at your truck see these as errors? Probably not. Would they bug you everyday? Probably.

This isn't making sense to me.
Isn't any program the printer guy got that will "open" a vector file, be able to open a .png?
The image is one colour, flat, no back ground... open>export>CTRL-P>pick a printer DONE (The thing GreyGhost posted works just tickity boo)
i can't get over the print shop NOT being able to deal with a .png

It won't get done. But I do appreciate the optimism

They can, they don't want to. My conversion is 95% ok. Clients would ***** that it's not 100% the same. If shop spent the time to make it 100%, clients would ***** about the cost. Shop has learned to ask for vector as then it is really easy to provide an exact reproduction at any size.

That's the .png file above. @bitzz has sent me it in imgur. I'm looking to get 2 vinyl cuts - one for each side of the van - approx 2 feet in length. Probably in black.
Sounds like the "vectoring" is a bit of work so the vinyl guys wants to pass on that maybe.
Pm me the file, that’s too simple!

The Squeeze came up with this name for the truck and I thought up the eyeballs for the "e"s. So now I want to go one step further and get a giant blood shot eyeball image for the spare tire cover on the back of the van. She's not liking that idea though. (with 6 bikes in the garage you have to pick your battles carefully)

Just bringing this old post back to life to show off the final results.
Thanks to help from someone on this forum we got it done. Very happy with the results.0-2.jpg
