hey gtam!
This past weekend (june 22-24) I attended my M2 exit course with RTI in newmarket.

my instructor was stephen keith i believe thats his last name, i have to check the bizz card.

Anyways, I completed the course successfully and received my full M license :)

I did it on my 2006 kawasaki ninja zx6r 636.

Stephen was very helpful and informative, i would recomend him to a lot of people, and on that same note, i would recomend RTI to everyone that wants to take either their m1 exit or m2 exit tests!

Very happy I am now M licensed ! :)

Congrats..
I just did my M2 exit at downsview station and passed

You mad I paid $75 for it? :P

congrats! I'll pass this on to Steve, I'm sure he'll be happy to know you got something out of the course!

You surely are a genius and OP is an idiot .... what else can be said, right?

Wtf man? You're actually going to insult me because I took a riding course? Surely you're an *******, what else can be said, right ? :)

Anyways thanks to everyone else for the generous comments. I had a good time and felt a lot more comfortable taking my M with RTI and not going straight to the ministry, since I've been off my motorcycle for a couple of years.

Easy .. MXS was being sarcastic towards Ujelly for his comments towards you.

and I too was being sarcastic with the you mad part as well.
No harm done.

sarcasm doesn't show very easily on an internet forum. I didn't take it as sarcasm, but thats quite alright. No Harn and No Foul. My appologies for snapping back.

And hey Ujelly, no worries I knew you were being sarcastic no worries at all !

Is it worth it taking an exit course I wonder? Or should I save my money and just do the test?

I think it's totally worth taking the course. They'll drill things into your head that might save your life one day. I just did the course too and got my full M on my CBR 125.

I'd just take the test and invest the saved money in an advanced/total control type class. I'm assuming you mean M2 exit, M1 exit the course is totally worth it.

I decided to do my M2 Exit at the DriveTest centre in Guelph and I must tell you, the drive along Hwy 7 was magnificent. The test was involved on both the streets and the highway. BTW, Hwy 6 has a maximum speed limit of 70kph. You would be surprised how many people were from the GTA taking their road tests.

Only you can answer that. If your only goal is to get your license then just go the MTO route. If you actually want to learn something about keeping yourself safe in traffic, take the course. The Total Control and like courses mentioned are riding skill oriented for the most part, not necessarily geared towards traffic management.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll likely sign up for the course, and yes I was referring to M2 exit. I don't mind paying extra for a good learning opportunity.
