Cold hands

Invest in the heated grips as lightcycle suggested. You can purchase a set of Symtec for under $50 from a Parts Canada or Importation Thibault dealer.

I have these same ones, Comes with a high, low setting and fits under any grips.

Ebay is where to get them, Cost me $7.

I really prefer heated grips to winter gloves and the like, as you can wear summer gloves for longer into the riding season, and if your hands get wet they keep working to keep you warm.

For the forgetful, who leave their thicker gloves at home, or for the unexpected rain shower, or for early morning rides in spring and fall, heated grips are excellent. They are easy to install, work well and are inexpensive. They work better if you protect your hands from the wind by using a windshield.

Anyone know where I can get some of those ATV mitts locally? The Princess Auto site says they don't sell them anymore.

dude you're soft....My hands don't get cold unless its less than 5 degrees, 15....you gotta be shittin me. Get a pair of thin undergloves or use rubber doctor gloves, easy to carry and work wonders

I hope the OP figures something out, but this thread does remind me of one I saw elsewhere when someone complained about it being too cold to ride...for 3 whole days...because it was only 20C outside and was cloudy. Needless to say, everyone in the more northern states & Canada definitely chimed in/tore him a new one lol.

For myself, I rode until around 5C or so using a pair of regular/summer Scorpion pref leather gloves, and when that got too cold I picked up a pair of Dainese Scouts until the bike got put away due to traction & salt concerns. I don't get cold easily though, and hoping to be back out on 2 wheels in another 2-4 weeks, if only mother nature (and the plows/salters) comply.

I use heated grips. Wonderful things those.

Forget about hands, my feet are the ones that get hit hard... No matter what boots/shoes I wear the area where the jeans end and shoes start is where all the air goes through and fvcks you up... I need to tuck my jeans in my socks for the next month and look like a retard

I say the exact same thing, 15 C and below and my fingers are numb. But I have a condition called raynaud's syndrome, you may have the same thing, it's basically a problem with circulation. The funny thing with me if it's below lets say -10 C my fingers are fine, it seems to bother me from around -5 and then on the bike 15 and below.

My finger tips were freezing off last fall. So I got a pair of snowmobile gloves from Royal...very toasty. :D Shure you don't have the same feel as gloves but now my hands can take the cold.
