Cobbler in Ajax for motorcycle boots

Anyone know of a really good cobbler in the Ajax area for motorcycle boots? The plan is to add a 1/2" to my wife's SIDI boots. She went to one today in Toronto, but they are crazy busy and Sherry got a bad vibe.

leather or plastic sole?

Rodney!
What's up - wife kinda short?
No worries, nothing wrong with that (you can pick 'em up, and twirl 'em around real easily)...
But RIDING huh?
Okay look,
People make fun of the Icon Bombshell motorcycle boot for women.
But I tell you, it's a real motorcycle boot and offers sustantial protection!
It is all padded on the front, and armored around ankle-points.
It has a titanium heel plate, and genuine motorcycle sole.
It looks like a go-go boot from the 70's, heheh... something a fashion model (or hooker) would wear.
But it will add three inches to any woman's height!
An honest three inches at least, and not spindly heels either.
Most women I know, however, lack the self-confidence to wear this boot...
Anyway - wanted to recommend, could help your situation.
Regards

True, this is another option, but looks a little odd, but yet kinda sexy, especially for a motorcycle riding boot. I can't see how stable these would be though since they are so high.

My wife is also a bit on the short side but I don't really see how this boot is any different that her just touching her toes on the ground. This doesn't actually increase overall length, it just adds more surface area when you're tippy-toeing. Not the same to me.

Rofl...you're really trying to impress this boot on me, lol. Do you have a pair :D?

I was thinking of asking the cobbler to remove the original sole and add a piece in, possibly with a bit of a wedge to it.

There is a possible cobbler in Whitby. When I have some time this weekend, I'm going there, if not tonight if the urge hits. I bet the Sidi boots will look neat! Maybe a 1/2 inch on the front, increasing up to an inch on the back.

Bombshell bombshell bombshell!!!

I tried them on, they're not comfortable, they're an unnatural narrow width, i'll stick to duty boots. I'd warn against putting in new soles, the integrity of the boot could be compromised. Adding more sole would just add more hight with out compromising the boot. I looked into getting some zippers removed from a set of boots i have, the cobbler said he would not do it because the boots would just fall apart after. some retailers will take your money and give you what you think you want but not warn you about the downfalls...

Rodney - try an auto wrecking yard... http://bit.ly/tk0Bz9 should list a few.

Nope, I'm the kinda girl that only wears heals when I'm dressed up. I know Cat has them and she loves them:) Lil Sushi rides in heals all the time.

They look friggen hawt and you are a petite lady that can pull them off no problem.

Get a taller wife, simple. :D

Or you could lower the bike an inch.
Or you could send your wife to Cruisingirls dungeon and have her stretched on the rack.

LMAO :lmao: !

It's getting cold outside! Hibernation time? Hey, and you mentioned the stillettos :).

Start a thread on cobbler and it somehow turns into bondage. Off topic much?

Am I the only one that hasnt heard the term "cobbler" used in the last 100 years or so?
