Although, the good thing about this year is that there should be less crevice-sized potholes given the lack of sustained snow on the roads and the need for plows.

Sorry, no such luck. What creates those monster potholes is the freeze-thaw cycle, of which we've had far too much this 'winter.' There are already potholes out there, that you could lose a Buick in.

Yup, know all bout the freezing/thawing - what I should have stated is that I was hoping that there'd be a magical correlation between less trucks out there (thereby reducing the amount of vibration contributing to larger and larger cracks which in turn allow for more moisture/salt and therefore aid in the whole size of said potholes) and the amount of potholes we'd have to dodge...

Damn your sound logic!
