Lights are all done. Best $119 i have spent in years. I'll post a bunch of pics in the review forum later.
Mine came this afternoon. Put them up after dinner. The difference is stupid. ?

I think I'll order mine then. I'm ripping out all the walls next week and this would be a good time to wire it all up.Mine came this afternoon. Put them up after dinner. The difference is stupid. ?
Are people all getting the 4000lm 5000k bulbs or are they getting warmer color bulbs? I dont really like 5000k, but it looks like the lower color temps have half the lumens
I’m an electrical contractor and a big part of my job is installing commercial lighting. The current trend for lighting temperature is 5000k in garages, workshops and warehouses (commonly referred to as daylight) Even offices are starting to switch over to 5000k LED fixtures and fluorescent lamps. It is by far a better choice for a garage.I was resistant to it at first but once you’ve stood under a 4000k (cool white) light fixture and a 5000k (daylight) side by side you will understand why. I don’t think I would go as far as 6500k though. If you’ve already got them great but if you’re buying new ones definitely get 5000k.Are people all getting the 4000lm 5000k bulbs or are they getting warmer color bulbs? They come with hardwire cables too. But they are a little short.I think I'll order mine then. I'm ripping out all the walls next week and this would be a good time to wire it all up.
A little short? At least they are removable. I am always disappointed when products that are otherwise quite good ship with hardwire cables that cant make it into a box yet alone give you enough slack to make a connection there. I installed some led drivers with a hardwired cable about the same length. Bastards. They come with hardwire cables too. But they are a little short.
I'm happy with these....
Pack of 8) Barrina LED T5 Integrated Single Fixture, 4ft, 2200lm, 6500K )Super bright White), 20W
I put 6 of the barrina 40w 5000 lm 5000k in the garage and finished installing a few other lights I had around. Went from ~30 watts of fluorescent to ~500 watts of led. Much better. Still need another 700 watts or so to hit 150 lumens/sq ft recommended for a shop. I have the barrinas on a separate switch, may add a few more lines of barrinas next year to spread out the money.I like these so much, I bought 12 more for my dim lit, unfinished basement.
