Same content you'll see on plenty of stuff for sale on Amazon. What i don't typically see is the tech support responding and providing guides or contact info to address the issues, good for Drift.

I didn't even look at the Amazon reviews, LoL.

I did watch Techmoan's review. I've watched several of his reviews and I trust him.

The Ghost 4K includes image stabilization... You can also do this in software though...

I witnessed a close-call yesterday, but since it was a little far ahead, I need to zoom in from the wide angle and the shakiness is apparent when zooming.

Here's a split screen - left is zoomed in and right side has 60% image stabilzation applied (imovie app on my macbook)

Jesus....one close call followup up by cutting off a bike.

Did the driver go for the trifecta after that?

The camera is attached to you or the bike? That footage is really bad. I'm not a hater, that's just really bad for a sportscam. Image stabilization is a must on any helmet cam. I'd return it and get the Senna or something else for an extra $20 or so.

You realize zooming in on any cam is going to degrade the quality?

I don't think you quite comprehend what buyers of this camera value.

So for my setup, since I have a modular helmet my mounting points are rather limited; and the surface is concave where I wanted to mount the Drift Ghost X. I ended up buying a 5 gram package of Sugru from Canadian Tire for $15, moulded and pressed the mount into place and let it cure for 24 hours before attaching the camera. It's quite durable and shows no sign of degradation so far.

i bought the entry level 2018 go pro hero (at the time it was on sale for 160$ with no taxes on amazon) which is essentially a locked down go pro hero 5 due to restricted firmware. with oem firmware it records at 1440p. with a simple firmware hack it 'unlocks' the hardware and turns it into a full blown go pro hero 5 with 4k recording including protune.

i use a motoradds chin mount on my bell qualifier dlx helmet

do you use it to vlog? how is the audio with the mic plugged in

interesting, i assume this is very similar to a go pro. Device itself isn't waterproof and requires the case? If you want to use mic with the case you prob need to a hole in the case?

I'll check out some reviews, but looks like Techmoan didn't do a review on this.

There are lots of other options, some cheaper some more expensive.

Yes it's essentially a go pro, and like the go pro it needs a case to be completely water proof so you can't run a mic very well (unless things have changed.)

been looking at reviews and seems like this camera has issues with the external mic
